| Why is it that when people are seeking serious relationships it appears that other people respond live hundreds of miles away? What are their motives? Could they actually already be attached? |

| That's the problem how do you know even if they're telling the truth about themselves at all. Just check for some of the signs like if they want to meet you right away and they live far away. My only advice would to be careful, there are untrustworty people all around. Use caution. |

| Caution is right! I was on a couple of different sites before I found this one. O the first site, I chatted with a guy and thought he was really nice. Then I go to another site and there he is (same picture anyway). but now on this second site he has a different name, marital status and location. in another situation, i answered an interest that was sent to me and all he wanted to do was talk nasty. i am very cautious now. |

Well unfortunately their are those that are not trustworthy/honest. It's part of nature and it's a risk. I do feel that online dating can be rewarding but it's very important to be cautious.
Everyone have their own expectations of online love. Unfortunately their are those that does not meet our good natured standards *being honest* and respect one's feelings.
Your soulmate could be residing across the "equator" who knows. Good Luck....
